Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Carmen works directly with clients helping them address all wealth- and investment-related matters including working with multi-generational families on estate and tax planning. Carmen manages client portfolios to meet individual client goals and situations, following the investment strategies and allocations determined by the Investment Group.
Carmen joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Threshold Group, where she served as a member of the client team for the founding family along with other multi-generational families. Prior to Threshold, Carmen held positions in healthcare marketing, program management and education, with Franciscan Health.
Carmen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington. During her tenure in the healthcare industry, she obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Accounting in Finance Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. A native of Washington, Carmen lives in Puyallup, Washington, with her husband. They are an active-duty Air Force family; Carmen volunteers regularly to provide investment and financial education to military families.
