Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Coley has direct responsibility for managing client relationships. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives; manage their investments, including impact investing; and integrate their investment strategy, philanthropy, and estate planning into a cohesive wealth management plan. Coley also oversees business operations for the firm’s Aspen, Colorado office.
Coley has twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Tiedemann, Coley spent ten years at Wells Fargo, where he was responsible for building their Aspen Private Wealth Management office. At Wells, he was recognized as a national leader in his position. Before moving back to Aspen, Coley spent fifteen years in New York City as a top performer at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., all in the areas of institutional investment sales, sales management, and relationship management.
