Eric Russell
Mr. Russell is the founder and Director of Revalesio Corporation, a life-sciences company developing a novel compound currently in Phase II trials for multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. His work at the company has included raising more than $100 million to fund research and development and human trials, as well as a broad array of basic science.
Prior to founding Revalesio, Mr. Russell served in a variety of roles at the Frank Russell Company, including President of Frank Russell Investment Management Company. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Under his leadership, assets in the investment business more than tripled. In 1995, Mr. Russell was appointed to lead the company’s strategic “Re-Engineering,” which redefined the company’s focus from consulting to investment management.
Mr. Russell spent two years working for Lend Lease Corporation in Sydney, Australia, as a Development Manager and two years working for ASPID International, a retail consulting firm utilizing proprietary consumer behavior tools to drive sales in major retail centers.
Mr. Russell is a founding board member of The Russell Family Foundation and currently serves as Chairman of the Audit and Investment Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. Mr. Russell lives with his wife, Marcee, in Tacoma, Washington.
