Ethan Doyle

Ethan is a senior member of the Investment Group with a focus on the firm’s illiquid investment platform including co-investment and direct investment activities.
Ethan has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry mainly as an investment professional, but also including experience in Mergers and Acquisitions advisory. Prior to joining Tiedemann, Ethan worked as a portfolio manager for a San Francisco-based family office managing a long-short, primarily public equity investment portfolio. Prior to that, Ethan co-founded and was Managing Partner of RDG Capital, a fundamental value-focused, activist hedge fund. Prior to joining RDG in 2009, Ethan worked at GCA Savvian Group, first in their mergers and acquisitions advisory business, then in their principal investing unit focused on fundamental value-driven investment opportunities across a wide range of asset classes spanning private/public equity and debt. Ethan began his career as a Research Analyst at Skiritai Capital, a small-cap, value hedge fund.
Outside of Tiedemann, Ethan is an advisor to Upwell Water, a private water infrastructure asset investment company and Boston Meridian Partners, a boutique M&A investment banking firm. He is an active competitive sailor, and is a member of the finance committee and race development committee at the San Francisco Yacht Club, and a Director of Doyle Sailmakers, Inc., a family-owned, international sail manufacturing business.
Ethan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Princeton University, graduating with Honors. He currently resides in Belvedere, California with his wife and two young children.
