Senior Vice President
Jacob is a senior member of the Investment Group, with responsibility for market strategy, manager selection, risk management and asset allocation for both traditional and impact investments.
He joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Presidio Capital Advisors, where he served as Principal and member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Presidio, Jacob came from the American Red Cross endowment and pension, where he was engaged in investment due diligence and asset allocation on alternative assets, as well as presentations of research and performance reports to the endowment and pension boards. He also worked at Hall Capital Partners as a member of the investment research team, focused on private real asset investments and on developing the firm’s real assets fund of funds.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and management science from the University of California, San Diego. Jacob is a native of San Francisco, CA, residing in the city with his wife and two young sons.
