Jerry Deren

Jerry has direct responsibility for managing client relationships. He works closely with clients to identify their financial objectives; constructs and manages their investment portfolios; and leverages other Tiedemann resources to formulate a comprehensive wealth, estate, and philanthropic plan. He is also a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.
Jerry joined Tiedemann when the Firm merged with Presidio Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining customized investment portfolios for families, individuals and institutions. He also served on the Marketing, Investments and Leadership Committees. Prior to joining Presidio in 2005, Jerry was an associate with Goldman Sachs in the Investment Management Division in New York and Dallas. Jerry served as a naval officer and carrier-based fighter pilot for thirteen years before starting his financial career. He served two tours as a demonstration pilot for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and continues to serve as a mentor to transitioning veterans.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Originally from Iowa, Jerry resides in the Dallas area with his wife, Denise, and three children.
