Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Joseph is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop custom trust, tax, and estate planning solutions. He also brings experience with Delaware trust law and related advantages relative to each client’s specific short-term and long-term objectives. Joseph serves as the main point of contact for clients, managing execution of the integrated plan and overseeing its ongoing administration, including updates due to evolution of family circumstances and applicable laws. Joseph serves on the Board of Directors of Tiedemann Trust Company and serves on additional committees of the firm.
Prior to joining Tiedemann in 2002, Joseph worked at the Delaware Community Foundation, focusing on estate planning techniques and philanthropy. He began his career in law, having worked for two different law firms in Wilmington, Delaware. He has practiced pro bono for the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate and is active in numerous local non-profit organizations.
