Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Ken has direct responsibility for managing client relationships. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives; manage their investments, including impact investing; and integrate their investment strategy, philanthropy, and estate planning into a cohesive wealth management plan.
He joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Presidio Capital Advisors, where Ken served as a Managing Director. At Presidio, Ken developed, implemented and maintained investment portfolios for clients in San Francisco and New York.
He also acted as a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities and Montgomery Securities in San Francisco. In addition, he worked for the Private Bank of J.P. Morgan in New York and acted as a Director of Equity Capital Markets for CS First Boston. He began his career with 16 years at Goldman Sachs after finishing business school and spending four years in the U.S. Navy as an intelligence officer aboard the USS Oriskany.
Ken earned a Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Williams School of Commerce, Economics and Politics at Washington and Lee University.
