Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Shannon leads and oversees the expanded services offered to clients, focusing on compliance and risk management. She has extensive experience working with family offices as well as multi-generational families and is a permanent member of the Account Review Committee that provides legal and fiduciary oversight for trust accounts.
Prior to joining Tiedemann in 2006, Shannon was a Vice President with J.P. Morgan where she was responsible for the administration of trusts and estates for high-net-worth clients. She served on numerous committees including chairing the Trust and Investment Committee for Charitable Accounts.
Shannon earned a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers where she was an editor of the Law Review and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Texas. Born and raised in Texas, Shannon currently resides in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
