Meet the Tiedemann team
Our commitment to our clients is solidified in our structure as a partnership. From the start, the firm was set up to hand down equity to future generations of Tiedemann employees. Being independent and responsible to ourselves alone allows us to fully invest in our clients.
Will has direct responsibility for managing client relationships. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives; manage their investments, including impact investing; and integrate their investment strategy, philanthropy, and estate planning into a cohesive wealth management plan.
Will joined Tiedemann when the Firm merged with Presidio Capital Advisors, where he was a Partner and Managing Director. In that role, Will developed and maintained portfolios for individuals, families and organizations. In addition, he served on the firm’s Investment Committee. Before Presidio, Will was with Bernstein Global Wealth Management as a Principal in their private client business. Prior to that he was at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg and Towbin and Alex Brown and Sons in the institutional taxable fixed income arena.

Will earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a fifth-generation San Franciscan, where he lives with his wife, Melinda Ellis, and their three daughters.
