Roberta Sydney Elected to Tiedemann Advisors Board of Directors
NEW YORK, December 4, 2019 – Tiedemann Advisors, an independent U.S. investment and wealth advisor for high-net-worth families, trusts, foundations, and endowments that oversees approximately $21 billion in assets under advisement with over $2.4 billion in impact investments, today announced that Roberta Sydney has been named to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Sydney has accrued over three decades of experience in financial services and real estate development. Her financial acumen, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and expertise with family business strategy and private company governance will serve as assets in this role. She has held numerous leadership positions including Principal at State Street Advisory Strategies, Senior Vice President at BayBank and CEO of Sydney Associates, Inc., a midsize real estate developer, asset and property manager, and multigenerational family business.

Ms. Sydney is an active, independent Board Member across the private and non-profit sectors. She serves on the boards of Plaxall Inc., Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School and C200. She also advises several real estate technology companies, including Rental Beast, Embue and Cobu. Ms. Sydney received a bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from Wellesley College, a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from MIT and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
